This medication is used to relieve respiratory symptoms such as cough and sputum.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day after meals

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should not be used by infants under 3 months of age. Those who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. People taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, or who have discontinued them within the last 2 weeks, should not use this medication. Additionally, patients with genetic disorders that prevent the breakdown of lactose should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, do not take other cough medications, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives together. Individuals with a history of allergies or those who have experienced allergic reactions to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulty, elderly individuals, and those who are frail or have a high fever should also consult a doctor before taking. This is also true for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Additionally, smokers or those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or those with persistent cough, fever, rash, or headache should also consult a professional. This drug contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, and those who are allergic to this ingredient should be cautious. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, urinary difficulty, severe thirst, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Also, if the symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking it and consult a professional. This medication should not be used in children under 2 years of age unless absolutely necessary and should be done under a doctor's supervision. When taking, be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and method, and it is advisable to use syrup preparations instead of capsules for children under 7 years old. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication and refrain from driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur.
