This medication is used to relieve various symptoms associated with the common cold, such as sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 1 tablet at a time, 3 times daily, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If severe rashes, blisters, or itching occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. The acetaminophen contained in this medication can cause liver damage if taken in excess of 4,000 mg in a day, so do not take it with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals with an allergic reaction to this medication or those who have previously experienced asthma or allergic symptoms while taking this medication or similar medications should not take it. Infants under three months of age or those with specific genetic lactose intolerance conditions should also not take this medication. Additionally, individuals currently taking or who have discontinued specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications within the last two weeks should consult a specialist before using this medication. It is advisable not to take other medications that relieve symptoms, such as cough medicine, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines, while taking this medication. Children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic constitutions, or those who have a history of drug allergies should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid conditions, diabetes, hypertension, or gastrointestinal diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women should definitely consult a doctor before taking this medication. If any symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or anxiety appear after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. In the case of severe allergic reactions or blistering of the skin, asthma attacks, or symptoms of impaired liver function, stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical assistance. It is generally not recommended for children under two years of age to use this medication, but if necessary, they should be seen by a doctor. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and instructions, and it should not be used for extended periods, nor should alcohol be consumed while taking it. Care should be taken when taking it with certain medications as it may increase the risk of side effects. Finally, store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer it to other containers to maintain the quality of the medication.

Drug interactions
