Precautions

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if you regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Moreover, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including this medication, can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Serious thrombotic reactions such as myocardial infarction and stroke may occur, so individuals with heart disease or risk factors should exercise greater caution. During treatment, symptoms related to the cardiovascular system should be closely monitored, and if any symptoms appear, consult medical personnel immediately. This medication can cause significant gastrointestinal problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation. The risk is higher for the elderly or individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, so gastrointestinal symptoms should be carefully observed during treatment, and if any problems are suspected, immediate medical attention is required. Individuals with certain diseases or conditions should not take this medication. For example, those allergic to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, those with asthma, severe heart dysfunction, severe liver or kidney disease, or pregnant women in the third trimester should avoid its use. Taking this medication in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin, platelet aggregation inhibitors, glucocorticoids, certain diuretics, anticancer agents, or certain antibiotics may increase the risk of side effects, so care should be taken not to combine them. Do not breast-feed while taking this medication, and avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness or visual disturbances. Individuals with bronchial asthma, heart failure, hypertension, blood abnormalities, the elderly, and those with cardiovascular disease risk factors should consult with healthcare professionals before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, blood in stool, rash, or breathing difficulties occur during the treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult with medical professionals. This medication helps relieve symptoms but does not treat the underlying cause. Therefore, in the case of acute diseases, it is important to take it for the minimum period along with the cause-related treatment. After 20 weeks of pregnancy, it may affect fetal kidney function, so if necessary, use the minimum dose for the shortest duration, and regularly check the amniotic fluid status.
