This medication is used to relieve respiratory symptoms such as cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 2 capsules at a time, 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should not be used in infants under 3 months old. People who have experienced allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. People who are taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or Parkinson's disease medications or have discontinued them within the past 2 weeks should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. During treatment with this medication, it is advisable not to take other cough medicines, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives that contain similar ingredients. Patients with a history of allergy or previous reactions such as fever, rash, or itching due to medication should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, urinary retention, older adults, those who are frail or have a high fever should consult a health professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also consult a doctor before taking this medication. If there are respiratory diseases such as smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or if cough persists for more than one week or recurs, or if cough is accompanied by fever, rash, or headache, it is advisable to consult a health professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, urinary retention, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur after taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve after taking it 5-6 times, stop taking it and consult a health professional. Children under 2 years old should not use this medication, and if necessary, a medical examination should be sought. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration. For children under 7 years old, administering in syrup form is safer than using capsules. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication. This medication may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving vehicles or operating machinery while taking it. Store this medication out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it sealed in a cool, dry place.
