Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients who are allergic to certain ingredients. Additionally, since it contains lactose, it should not be taken by patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders. This medication is used for the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis and can be safely used in patients of various ages; however, some patients may experience side effects such as fatigue, fever, abdominal pain, headache, cough, and rash. Although safety has also been evaluated in children and adolescents, caution is necessary as adverse reactions may occur. This medication is not intended for the emergency treatment of acute asthma attacks, and patients should always carry a rescue inhaler. When reducing the dosage of inhaled steroids, it should be adjusted gradually under a doctor's guidance and should not be changed abruptly. While taking this medication, neuropsychiatric symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, and attention disorders, may occur, and if these symptoms arise, consult a doctor. Patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid these medications while taking this drug. Severe symptoms, such as vasculitis or eosinophilia, may rarely occur, and if related symptoms appear, notify medical personnel immediately. This medication has minimal drug interactions when used with other asthma treatments, but monitoring by a doctor may be necessary when combined with certain medications. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medication and should only take it when necessary. It is not recommended for children, especially infants under 6 months of age, as safety and effectiveness have not been established. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so seek medical attention immediately for appropriate treatment, and general symptomatic relief measures may be necessary. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers. If asthma symptoms worsen or the use of rescue inhalers increases during treatment, consult a doctor immediately. Lastly, this medication should be taken consistently even in the absence of symptoms, and dosage should not be arbitrarily stopped or changed.
