Dosage

For ages 15 and older, take 1-2 tablets once, twice a day on an empty stomach (before or between meals). The dosing interval should be more than 4 hours. However, for the first dose, start with the minimum amount and adjust gradually based on the appearance and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction, and by children under 7 years old. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour of consuming antacids or milk during the course of treatment. If constipation does not improve after taking the medication for about a week, it is necessary to stop taking it and consult a professional. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, especially when administering to children, under the supervision of a guardian. Long-term use of this medication may lead to drug tolerance and worsen constipation, so it is important not to use it for more than one week. If daily laxative use is required, identifying the underlying cause of constipation is necessary. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in a cool place away from direct sunlight and humidity, in a tightly sealed container. Also, for quality maintenance, it is advisable not to transfer to another container.
