It should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, pregnant or nursing women, patients with severe liver or kidney disease, or patients with hereditary angioedema. Caution should be exercised in elderly patients, those with high serum potassium levels, patients with impaired liver function, heart valve diseases, or heart failure, as they may require close monitoring for hypotension or changes in kidney function. Side effects such as headaches, dizziness, fatigue, cough, and diarrhea may occur during treatment, and in severe cases, low blood pressure, kidney dysfunction, or hyperkalemia may occur, necessitating immediate consultation with a healthcare provider if symptoms occur. Blood pressure can drop rapidly; therefore, care must be taken to observe the patient's condition, especially when starting treatment or increasing the dose, particularly in patients who are on diuretics or are on a salt-restricted diet. Interactions may occur when taken with other antihypertensive medications, diuretics, or potassium supplements, so consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication is not recommended for nursing mothers, and its safety has not been established in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
