Adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should also be avoided by infants under 3 months of age or persons who have had an allergic reaction to this drug. Additionally, those who are currently taking or have stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as certain antidepressants or antipsychotics within the past two weeks should not take this medication. Since this medication contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other cough medicines, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives concurrently. Children under 2 years of age or those over 3 months should only take this medication after consulting with a doctor, and it is generally safer not to use this medication unless necessary. Individuals who have allergic tendencies or have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications should consult a professional before taking it. Caution is also needed for individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary retention, as well as elderly or frail individuals. Breastfeeding women or patients currently undergoing treatment should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Particularly, smokers or those with respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or those experiencing a cough lasting more than a week, should definitely consult their doctor before use.
