Precautions

This medication should not be used in women who have not reached menopause because its safety and efficacy have not been established. If there is uncertainty regarding menopausal status, it is essential to confirm menopause through a blood test. Caution is required in patients with severely impaired liver function or significantly reduced kidney function due to a lack of experience with these conditions. This medication may lower estrogen levels in the body, reducing bone density and increasing the risk of fractures; therefore, patients with osteoporosis or those at risk should regularly check their bone health before and during treatment. Co-administration with certain types of medication may reduce efficacy, so concurrent use should be avoided. This medication should not be used during pregnancy or in breastfeeding women, as it may harm the fetus or newborn. It is advisable not to use this medication in children under 18 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been established. While this medication is unlikely to significantly impair driving or machine operation, caution is needed if feelings of weakness or confusion occur. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote; appropriate treatment should be administered based on symptoms, and inducing vomiting or considering dialysis may be needed. During the use of this medication, abnormalities such as liver dysfunction, respiratory distress, allergic reactions, or thrombosis may occur, so immediate consultation with a medical professional is necessary if any such symptoms manifest.
