Essential Hypertension: The recommended initial dose is 80 mg orally once daily as valsartan. If blood pressure control is not adequate, can increase to 160 mg once daily or combine with a diuretic, with a maximum of 320 mg daily. Elderly patients (75 years or older) should start at 40 mg once daily. In patients with renal impairment, if creatinine clearance is 10-20 mL/min, start at 40 mg once daily.
Child dose
The safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established.

This medication is used to treat essential hypertension. It is also effective for heart failure patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors, particularly for those classified as NYHA Class II to IV. It helps to reduce the mortality risk in patients with decreased left ventricular function after a myocardial infarction. It is used in the treatment of various cardiovascular diseases to improve the health condition of patients.

How to take

Adult dose

Essential Hypertension: The recommended initial dose is 80 mg orally once daily as valsartan. If blood pressure control is not adequate, can increase to 160 mg once daily or combine with a diuretic, with a maximum of 320 mg daily. Elderly patients (75 years or older) should start at 40 mg once daily. In patients with renal impairment, if creatinine clearance is 10-20 mL/min, start at 40 mg once daily.

Precautions
