The initial dose is recommended to be 4 tablets. Following that, the dosing interval should be at least 6 hours apart, not exceeding 16 tablets per day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. Elderly patients will typically be administered the usual adult dosage, but those aged 75 and older should maintain a minimum interval of 6 hours between doses.
