This medication is used for respiratory symptoms such as cough, phlegm, runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing.

How to take

Adult dose

Do not take more than 4 times a day.

Child dose

Ages 6 to 12: 10 mL, take every 4-6 hours Ages 2 to 6: 5 mL, take every 4-6 hours Not to be administered to children under 2 years of age unless absolutely necessary with a doctor's supervision.

Precautions

This medication contains an ingredient called pseudoephedrine, which can rarely cause serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms such as fever, reddening of the skin, or multiple small blisters occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals who are currently using certain medications or have specific medical conditions. For example, individuals taking MAO inhibitors or who have stopped taking them within the last 2 weeks, those with uncontrolled severe hypertension, and patients with severe kidney disease should avoid use. Additionally, it is safer not to take this medication along with other cold medications, cough expectorants, antihistamines, sedatives, or alcohol while using it. People with allergic tendencies or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications, as well as those with liver or kidney issues or conditions such as diabetes or thyroid disease, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Pregnant or nursing women should also consult a professional before taking this medication. This medication is generally not to be used in children under 2 years of age and should only be used after a doctor's consultation if absolutely necessary.
