This medicine is effective against various bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli. It is used for common infections such as otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and laryngitis, which are upper respiratory tract infections. It also helps in the treatment of bronchitis and pneumonia, which are lower respiratory tract infections. It is effective for upper and lower urinary tract infections as well as skin and wound infections. It is used in the treatment of gynecological and abdominal infections and is widely utilized for various infectious diseases. This drug is used to improve these various infectious diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

1 dose of amoxicillin, sulbactam as 500 to 1000 mg (potency), administered orally 3 times a day.

Child dose

Children over 12 years of age should receive 1 dose of amoxicillin, sulbactam as 500 to 1000 mg (potency), administered orally 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with a history of specific allergies, as it is a penicillin-class antibiotic. Patients with hypersensitivity to any components of this drug or penicillin-class antibiotics and cephalosporins should avoid this medication. Patients with viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis are at increased risk of rash and should be cautious. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases, allergic predisposition, or severe renal impairment should use caution, and especially those with decreased renal function should adjust the dosing interval. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and other gastrointestinal symptoms may occur during treatment; if symptoms are severe, consult a physician immediately. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and anaphylactic shock may occur; if any unusual symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and seek treatment. Adverse effects such as renal dysfunction, blood disorders, and liver dysfunction have been reported, so regular monitoring and testing are necessary. Prolonged use may lead to excessive growth of fungi or resistant bacteria, and caution against dysbiosis is required. This medication should be used cautiously in pregnant and nursing women, as it may affect the fetus or newborn. Caution is also necessary for children and the elderly who may have weaker renal function, requiring dose adjustment. Drug interactions may occur when used junto with other medications, so inform your healthcare provider of any medications being taken. Serious side effects

Urticaria, severe swelling (Quincke's edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor (severe allergic reaction). Severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral or ocular mucosa (severe skin adverse reactions). Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever. Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), severe lethargy. Sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache.

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, upper abdominal pain, abdominal pain, anemia, hemolytic anemia, platelet abnormalities, neutropenia, eosinophilia, agranulocytosis, decreased thrombin, increased lymphocytes, increased monocytes, increased eosinophils, decreased serum albumin and total protein, stomatitis, candidiasis, itching, rash, skin reactions, urticaria, exfoliative dermatitis, bilirubinemia, increased liver enzyme levels, elevated AST, ALT, ALP, LDH.
