Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
Children aged 12 and above and adults: Dosage is adjusted based on the patient's pain level and treatment response. An initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and subsequent doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart, not exceeding 16 tablets in one day. The effective lowest dose should be administered for the shortest time possible. Avoid prolonged use of this medication beyond necessity, and if prolonged administration is needed due to the disease's nature and severity, regular monitoring should be conducted to assess the need for continued use of this medication. Elderly Administer the standard adult dose. However, in elderly patients aged 75 or older, the half-life of tramadol following oral administration increases by 17%, so doses should be administered at intervals of at least 6 hours. Patients with renal impairment Moderate renal impairment patients (creatinine clearance of 10-30 mL/min) should have their dosing intervals extended to 12 hours. Administration is not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance of less than 10 mL/min). Tramadol is eliminated very slowly by hemodialysis, so re-administration of this medication post-dialysis is not necessary to maintain analgesic effects. Patients with hepatic impairment In patients with moderate hepatic impairment, careful consideration should be given to extending the dosing interval. Administration is not recommended for patients with severe hepatic impairment.
Children aged 12 and above and adults: Dosage is adjusted based on the patient's pain level and treatment response. An initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and subsequent doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart, with a maximum of 16 tablets per day.
