This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Children aged 8 to under 15 years should take 1 capsule 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

People who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. There is a risk of liver damage if this medication is taken with large amounts of alcohol. This medication contains acetaminophen, so there is a risk of exceeding the maximum daily dosage of 4,000mg if taken together with other acetaminophen products. Therefore, it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Do not take this medication if you have an allergy to it or its ingredients, or if you have a history of asthma. Additionally, those currently taking or have recently stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the past two weeks should avoid taking this medication. Do not take this medication together with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines as it may cause side effects. Particularly children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic conditions, those with various diseases of the liver, kidneys, or heart, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, or dizziness occur after taking the medication, immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor. Rarely, severe skin reactions, asthma, liver dysfunction, or pneumonia may occur, so caution is necessary. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and should not be used for an extended period. When administered to children, supervision by a guardian is required, and alcohol should not be consumed during the course of treatment. Also, if taken with specific diuretics or medications containing licorice, the risk of hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities may occur, so caution is advised. Store this medication in a tightly closed container to avoid exposure to air and moisture. It is best to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This will help preserve the efficacy and safety of the medication for a longer period.
