This medication is used to treat symptoms related to suppurative diseases, which are characterized by redness, swelling, induration, and pain, including inflammation and abscesses.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adult patients take 2 tablets three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken if local symptoms such as redness, swelling, and pain are accompanied by systemic symptoms such as headache, chills, or fever. Patients with an abscess without fever or chronic boils should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose monohydrate, so individuals with hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure or heart or kidney diseases must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Those with edema or on other medications should also consult a professional, especially elderly individuals or women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should exercise caution. Individuals who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as rash, redness, or itching due to medication and children must consult a professional before taking this medication. If swelling of the face or extremities occurs during use, or if blood pressure increases and headaches develop, stop using it immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms of muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis occur, discontinue use and consult healthcare personnel. If skin rashes or gastrointestinal discomfort develop, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a physician. It is generally advised not to take this medication for an extended period, and if long-term use is unavoidable, consultation with a professional is necessary. Dosage and administration should be strictly followed, and caution is advised when taking this medication in combination with potassium-containing preparations or those containing licorice, as muscle-related side effects may occur. Care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients when taking with other herbal medicines.
