This medication helps improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness caused by obstructive thromboangiitis (Buerger's disease). It also effectively alleviates subjective symptoms like leg pain and tingling in patients with acquired lumbar spinal canal stenosis and improves walking ability. Therefore, it is used to improve these vascular and spinal-related symptoms.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with genetic diseases affecting lactose digestion. Caution is required for patients with a tendency to bleed or those taking antiplatelet agents, thrombolytics, or anticoagulants, as there is an increased risk of bleeding. Skin rash or itching may occur during use, so it should be discontinued immediately if such symptoms arise. Bleeding symptoms may rarely appear, so if any abnormal signs occur, stop administration and consult a healthcare professional. Gastrointestinal side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, and heartburn may occur, so caution is needed. There may be abnormalities in liver function, requiring regular monitoring such as liver function tests. Symptoms like palpitations, hypotension, and cyanosis of the extremities may rarely occur, so the patient's condition should be closely monitored. Other reported symptoms include headaches, facial flushing, dizziness, a sense of heat, trembling, swelling, and anemia; if any abnormal symptoms occur, patients should inform their healthcare provider. Patients with lumbar spinal canal stenosis should carefully monitor symptom changes to decide on the continuation of treatment, and efficacy is not guaranteed for severe patients who may require surgery. Safety has not been established in pregnant women; therefore, it must not be administered, as uterine contractions have been reported in animal studies. Safety has not been established for children, and there is no usage experience, so it is best not to administer to children. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, thus requiring careful dosage adjustments. In healthy adults, high doses may temporarily decrease blood pressure, so caution is warranted.
