This medication is used to treat symptoms related to vasomotor rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and rhinitis associated with colds. It alleviates discomfort caused by rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing. It helps effectively improve the rhinitis symptoms that patients experience in daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily, and in severe cases, take 1 capsule twice daily

Child dose

Adolescents aged 12 years and older: Take 1 capsule once daily

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which may cause severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or pustules occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Patients with allergic reactions to this medication or certain conditions, such as narrow-angle glaucoma, severe hypertension, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, severe liver dysfunction, or kidney disease, those under 12 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take this medication. Patients with a history of glaucoma, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, prostatic hypertrophy, liver disease, those at risk for QT interval prolongation, patients taking specific antibiotics or antifungal medications, and individuals over 60 years old should use caution when taking this medication. Possible side effects may include drowsiness, headaches, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dry mouth, skin rash, and in patients sensitive to sympathomimetic stimulation, symptoms such as insomnia, agitation, dizziness, and increased heart rate may occur. Rarely, serious allergic reactions or cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with a physician. Activities requiring attention, such as driving or operating hazardous machinery, should only be undertaken after thoroughly assessing personal reactions to this medication. This medication may enhance the effects of other antihistamines and should never be taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitors due to the risk of severe hypertension. Additionally, combining this medication with certain antibiotics or antifungals may increase drug concentration and elevate the risk of side effects. The safety of this medication for pregnant or breastfeeding women has not been established, so it should be used cautiously and only when necessary. If breastfeeding, the intake should be stopped along with nursing. In the case of overdose, emergency treatment such as gastrointestinal lavage, treatment according to symptoms, and electrocardiogram monitoring is necessary, so an immediate visit to a healthcare facility is required. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container is not advisable as it may affect quality.
