Treatment of skin and nail fungal infections, mucosal and corneal fungal infections, and systemic fungal infections; prevention of systemic fungal infections
This medication is used to treat various fungal infections. The liquid form is primarily used to treat oral and esophageal candidiasis in patients with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV or hematologic malignancies, and is also used for the prevention of systemic fungal infections.
