Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
Children over 12 years and adults: The dosage should be adjusted based on the patient’s pain level and therapeutic response. The initial dose of 2 tablets is recommended, with subsequent dosing intervals of at least 6 hours, but not to exceed 8 tablets per day. Administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Avoid administering this medication long-term unless necessary, and if prolonged treatment is required due to the nature and severity of the disease, regular monitoring should be performed to confirm the continuation of this medication. Elderly Administer the standard adult dosage. However, for individuals over 75, the elimination half-life of tramadol is increased by 17%, so it is important to space doses by at least 6 hours. Renal Impaired Patients For moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance of 10-30 mL/min), extend the dosing interval to 12 hours. In patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance of less than 10 mL/min), this medication is not recommended. Tramadol is very slowly removed during hemodialysis and filtration, so there is no need to re-administer this medication after dialysis for pain relief. Hepatic Impaired Patients For moderate hepatic impairment, it should be considered carefully to extend the dosing interval. For severe hepatic impairment, this medication should not be administered.
Children over 12 years and adults: The dosage should be adjusted based on the patient’s pain level and therapeutic response. The initial dose of 2 tablets is recommended, with subsequent dosing intervals of at least 6 hours, but not to exceed 8 tablets per day.
