Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
For children aged 12 and older and adults: The dosage is adjusted based on the patient's level of pain and treatment response. The initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and subsequent doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart, not exceeding 16 tablets per day. The minimum effective dose should be administered for the shortest period possible. This medication should not be taken for longer than necessary, and if long-term treatment is required due to the nature and severity of the condition, regular monitoring should be conducted to confirm the necessity of continued administration of this medication. Elderly Administer the usual adult dosage. However, in elderly patients over 75 years of age, when tramadol is taken orally, the elimination half-life of tramadol increases by 17%, thus the medication should be administered at intervals of at least 6 hours. Patients with renal impairment In patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance 10-30 ml/min), the dosing interval should be extended to 12 hours. In patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min), administration of this medication is not recommended. Tramadol is very slowly removed during hemodialysis and filtration, so there is no need to re-administer this medication post-dialysis to maintain analgesic effects. Patients with hepatic impairment In patients with moderate hepatic impairment, careful consideration should be given to extending the dosing interval. This medication should not be administered to patients with severe hepatic impairment.
For children aged 12 and older and adults: The dosage is adjusted based on the patient's level of pain and treatment response. The initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and subsequent doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart with a maximum of 16 tablets per day.
