During the use of this medication, side effects such as headache, cough, fever, and upper respiratory infections may occur, and if symptoms worsen, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Rarely, symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, insomnia, skin rash, or itching may occur. Taking it with antacids containing aluminum or magnesium may reduce its effect, so it is best to space them two hours apart. Taking this medication with fruit juices such as grapefruit juice, orange juice, or apple juice may reduce its effectiveness, so taking it with water is recommended. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the risks to the fetus when using this medication. Lactating women are advised to avoid breastfeeding while taking this medication. Safety for children under 6 years old, neonates, and low birth weight neonates has not been sufficiently established, so caution should be exercised.
