Levodepirine Tablets (Levodropropizine)

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 60 mg of levodropropizine orally 3 times daily, at intervals of at least 6 hours. The dose may be adjusted according to symptoms.

This medicine should not be used by individuals allergic to it or to any of its components. This medicine contains lactose, and individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion may experience adverse health effects upon taking it. It is advisable for individuals with excessive bronchial mucus production or impaired ciliary function to avoid using this medicine. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, should not take this medicine. Individuals with severely impaired liver function should also avoid using this medicine. Particular caution is advised for individuals with significantly impaired heart or kidney function when using this medicine. Elderly individuals and children under 2 years of age should also be cautious when taking this medicine. This medicine may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhea, or vomiting. Additionally, central nervous system symptoms such as fatigue, headache, dizziness, or palpitations may occur. Very rarely, skin allergic reactions or severe allergic reactions may occur, so caution is warranted. Care should be taken during driving or operating machinery while taking this medicine, especially when consumed with alcohol, as it may enhance the effect of the medication. The use of this medicine in conjunction with other medications such as sedatives may exacerbate side effects due to drug interactions, thus caution is advised. This medicine should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may compromise its quality, so it is best to store it in its original packaging.
