This medication is used to relieve major symptoms of the common cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle aches.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 pouch (100 mL) three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 3 times a day, 2/3 pouch (66.7 mL) each. Ages 7 to under 11: 3 times a day, 1/2 pouch (50 mL) each. Ages 3 to under 7: 3 times a day, 1/3 pouch (33.3 mL) each.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause serious skin conditions, so if you experience any abnormal symptoms like a rash or itching after taking it, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. The acetaminophen contained in this medication can cause liver damage if taken in excess of 4,000 mg per day, so do not take it with other products containing acetaminophen. Do not take this medication if you have an allergy to this medication or any of its components, or if you have previously had an allergic reaction related to this medication. Individuals who have experienced asthma attacks, infants under 3 months old, or those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. It is safest not to take other cold medications, antipyretics, cough suppressants, sedatives, or antihistamines while using this medication. In particular, consult a doctor before taking it for children or infants, especially those under 2 years of age, and close monitoring by a guardian is necessary. Individuals with allergies, or conditions affecting the liver, kidneys, heart, thyroid, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional; it is advisable not to take it more than 5-6 times if symptoms do not improve. This medication should be taken in the prescribed dosage and duration, and it is advised to avoid alcohol and to refrain from driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur while taking the medication. Additionally, caution is needed when taking this medication with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice, as it may lead to hypokalemia or muscle weakness. Finally, store this medication out of reach of children, in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer it to other containers.

  • Asthma attacks, cough + fever-related respiratory issues → respiratory problems.
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver problems (jaundice).
  • Severe swelling or urinary issues (reduced urination).
