This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It also helps to alleviate symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and is beneficial for long-term maintenance therapy. It can be used in conjunction with antibiotics to treat gastrointestinal ulcers in patients with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also effective in special conditions of excessive gastric acid secretion, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, this medication is used to treat and improve symptoms of various gastrointestinal disorders.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 10 mg of rabeprazole sodium orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg may be taken orally once daily. For gastric ulcers, treatment can be continued for up to 8 weeks; for duodenal ulcers, up to 6 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components.
