Treatment of skin mycoses (inflammation, dermatitis, etc.)
This medication is used for skin mycoses such as tinea, candidiasis, and pityriasis, accompanied by severe inflammation and clinical symptoms of dermatitis.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day. It can be used for a maximum of 2 weeks, after which a non-corticosteroid medication should be used.
This medication should not be used in areas with skin infections caused by bacteria or viruses. Particularly, when there are infections like tuberculosis, syphilis, herpes zoster, herpes simplex, or chickenpox, applying this medication may worsen symptoms. Patients with allergies to this medication or its components should avoid using it. Caution is advised for patients with eczematous otitis externa with a perforated tympanic membrane, as this medication may delay healing. Patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite may experience delayed healing due to impaired skin regeneration, so it is best not to use this medication. It should also be avoided in cases of perioral dermatitis or rosacea, and application around the eyes should be avoided. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as lactating women, should use this medication with caution, especially in the early stages of pregnancy when it is safer not to use it. When using in children or adolescents, it should be done under the supervision of a guardian. Prolonged use of this medication may cause various side effects such as acne, skin thinning, vascular dilation, and skin discoloration, so usage should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if symptoms develop. Additionally, using this medication over large areas for long periods or using occlusive dressings can affect the entire body, so caution is needed. Avoid using around the eyelids as it may increase intraocular pressure and raise the risk of glaucoma. When using this medication, be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage, and stop using it as soon as symptoms improve, switching to another medication without corticosteroids. This medication may impair the quality of latex rubber products used for contraception, so it is safer to avoid contact if used simultaneously. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should always consult a doctor before using this medication, and breastfeeding mothers should avoid applying it to the breast area. This medication is not for ophthalmic use, and children are at a higher risk of side effects than adults, requiring special caution. Areas under diaper usage may produce effects similar to occlusive dressings, so caution is advised. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and protect from direct sunlight. Transferring to another container may cause misuse or degradation in quality, so it must be stored in the original container. Caution is advised when using it for psoriasis, as skin conditions may worsen or systemic side effects may occur, so hygiene management should be taken care of in case of multiple infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria.
Infectious diseases (contagious impetigo, folliculitis, etc.)
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a cool place below 30 degrees and in a tightly sealed container to prevent air entry. This helps maintain the medication's effectiveness over time.
