This medication is helpful in the treatment of neurological and skin diseases, ophthalmic, otorhinolaryngological diseases, and various other conditions such as malignant lymphoma. Thus, this medication is used to improve and treat symptoms of several important diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

As hydrocortisone, the dosage is 10–120 mg per day, administered orally in 1 to 4 divided doses. It should be adjusted appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, those with incurable infections, systemic fungal infections, and patients with herpes simplex, shingles, and chickenpox should not use this medication.
