Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if administered to pregnant women, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to this medication, severe liver disease, kidney impairment, or a history of specific angioedema should not use it. Elderly patients, patients with hyperkalemia, patients with impaired liver function, and patients with heart valve disease should use this medication cautiously, as blood pressure may drop too low. During the course of treatment, dizziness, headache, fatigue, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, etc., may occur, and patients with heart failure or myocardial infarction may experience changes in kidney function and hypotension, necessitating regular check-ups. As blood pressure may drop suddenly, leading to fainting, it is important to start with a low dose and closely monitor the patient's condition when taking it for the first time. Caution is advised when taken with potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements, as blood potassium levels may rise to hazardous levels. Additionally, when taken with other antihypertensives or some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the blood pressure control effect may decrease or affect kidney function, so consultation with a physician is necessary. It is recommended that pregnant or breastfeeding women avoid taking this medication, and women planning to become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking it. The safety and efficacy in children and adolescents under 18 years of age have not been established.
