Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should also not be used in infants under 3 months old. People allergic to this medicine or its ingredients should avoid using it. In addition, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics known as MAO inhibitors, or who have discontinued such medications within the last two weeks, should not take this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should avoid using it. While taking this medicine, it is advisable not to take other cough medicines, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives together. Taking these medications in conjunction can lead to side effects. Individuals with a history of allergies or previous allergic reactions to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Patients with chronic conditions such as liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, or hypertension should also consult a professional before using this medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult a professional before taking this medicine, and anyone with specific cough symptoms or cough accompanied by persistent headaches or fever should also seek advice before use. This medicine contains a dye called Yellow No. 4, which should be approached with caution by people allergic to this ingredient.
