Biomycin Capsule (Eungyo-san)

Adult dose

For normal adults, take 2 capsules (2 tablets) per dose, 3 times a day before or between meals.

Child dose

For ages 7-14, take 1 capsule (1 tablet) per dose, 3 times a day before or between meals.

This medication should not be taken by babies or children under 5 years old. This medication contains lactose, so persons who have difficulty digesting lactose or have certain genetic issues should not take it. Those with high blood pressure, heart or kidney problems, or swelling in the body should consult a professional before taking this medication. People who are weak or have a weak stomach, or who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching from medications should also consult a professional. It is important for individuals taking other medications, pregnant women, or women who may become pregnant, as well as older adults, to consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or extremities or elevated blood pressure occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, lethargy, spasms, or paralysis occur, stop taking the medication and seek advice. Any occurrence of rashes, itching, indigestion, or nausea should be reported to a professional without delay. If symptoms do not improve within a few days of taking the medication, it is advisable to stop taking it and consult a professional. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and method of use, and if taking for an extended period, consult a professional. When giving to children, caregivers must provide proper guidance and supervision. Care should be taken when taking this medication with potassium-containing medications or certain diuretics, as side effects may occur.
