Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For instance, patients who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients, have blockages in their stomach or intestines, have difficulty urinating, have glaucoma, or have severe myasthenia gravis or cardiac conditions may experience exacerbation of symptoms upon use of this drug. Furthermore, patients with urinary difficulties, liver or kidney dysfunction, Parkinson's disease or cerebrovascular disorders, hyperthyroidism, the elderly, etc., should use this medication with increased caution. This drug can exacerbate various symptoms, particularly due to its anticholinergic effects, so caution is needed. During the course of treatment, various side effects such as mental anomalies, digestive issues, cardiovascular issues, blood abnormalities, renal dysfunction, skin rashes, eye pain or vision impairment may occur, hence symptoms should be closely monitored. If abnormal symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Before taking this medication, ensure there are no other conditions in the lower urinary tract, such as cancer or infections, and if complicated urinary obstruction diseases like benign prostatic hyperplasia are present, treatment of those conditions should take precedence. Additionally, since drowsiness or dizziness may occur, caution should be exercised regarding driving or operating hazardous machinery. Care should also be taken when taking this medication in conjunction with other anticholinergics, certain antidepressants, or psychiatric medications, as interactions may increase side effects. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, are advised not to take this medication. Safety in pediatric patients has not been established, and its use is not recommended. Elderly patients should start at a lower dose due to potential declines in liver and kidney function. In the event of an overdose, severe symptoms such as hallucinations, seizures, gait disturbances, and heart issues may appear, requiring immediate appropriate medical treatment. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to other containers is not recommended for quality maintenance.
