Additionally, individuals who have exhibited asthma symptoms after using this medication or other cold medications or antipyretic analgesics should also refrain from use. This medication contains lactose, thus patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. During treatment, since it contains acetaminophen, caution should be exercised to avoid taking it with other products containing acetaminophen as it can cause liver damage. Consultation with a physician or pharmacist may be necessary prior to taking this medication, especially for those with a history of allergies, asthma, skin diseases, diabetes, hypertension, liver or kidney diseases, as well as children, the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those undergoing treatment. Dosage and administration should strictly adhere to the prescribed usage and dosages, and it is advisable not to take it concurrently with other antipyretics, analgesics, or sedatives. Additionally, it can cause drowsiness, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery. Long-term continuous use is not recommended, and if symptoms do not improve, usage should be discontinued, and a health professional should be consulted. Care should be taken when taking this medication with the specific antibiotic flucloxacillin as it may rarely cause serious side effects such as metabolic acidosis. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Do not transfer to another container to prevent the risk of misuse. Finally, individuals who regularly consume three or more glasses of alcohol daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication, as this may significantly increase the risk of liver damage.
