Swallow this medication whole with water; do not divide, chew, or crush it. 1. Hypertension For felodipine, administer 5㎎ orally once daily as the initial dose and 5-10㎎ once daily in the morning as the maintenance dose. Do not exceed 20㎎ per day. This medication may be administered concomitantly with a β-blocker or diuretic, and may be administered as monotherapy when other antihypertensive agents are unsuitable. Adjust the dose according to the patient's response to treatment. 2. Stable angina Administer 5㎎ once daily as the initial dose, and increase to 10㎎ if needed. This medication may be administered concomitantly when an adequate effect is not achieved with a β-blocker. Adjust the dose according to the patient's response to treatment. 3. Elderly patients Administer cautiously while monitoring the patient's condition; consider an initial dose of 2.5㎎ once daily. 4. Patients with renal impairment Renal impairment does not affect plasma felodipine concentrations. Dose adjustment is not necessary, but administer cautiously to patients with severe renal impairment (GFR<30ml/min). 5. Patients with hepatic impairment Plasma felodipine concentrations may increase in patients with hepatic impairment, and they may respond to treatment at lower doses. Therefore, administer cautiously to patients with hepatic dysfunction, considering an initial dose of 2.5mg once daily; do not administer to patients with severe hepatic dysfunction.
