This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It helps improve the uncomfortable symptoms experienced by patients so that they can lead a more comfortable daily life.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults: 2 capsules three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Children's dosage

Children (ages 8 to 14): 1 capsule three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component included in this medication can, in rare cases, cause serious skin reactions; therefore, if skin rash or any other allergic symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Those who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components, have experienced asthma triggers, are infants under 3 months old, or are currently taking or have recently discontinued certain antidepressants or tranquilizers within the last two weeks should not take this medication. It is safe to avoid taking this medication in conjunction with cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medicines, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergy tendencies or various diseases affecting the liver, kidneys, heart, etc., and pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, difficulty urinating, dizziness appear after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist, especially if there are severe allergic reactions or symptoms of liver dysfunction, as prompt action is required. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication except in special cases, and when administering it to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. Be sure to stick to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid long-term use, and refrain from alcohol consumption during the course of treatment. Drowsiness may occur after taking the medication; it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery.
