This medicine should not be used in untreated pheochromocytoma patients. Patients with bronchial asthma or a risk of bronchospasm should be given this medicine with careful observation. Patients at risk of developing heart failure should be monitored regularly and may need to take appropriate medications in combination. Diabetic patients or patients with hypoglycemia may display hypoglycemic symptoms that can be masked, thus blood sugar levels should be monitored closely. Patients with significantly impaired liver or kidney function may require dosage adjustment or careful administration. Elderly patients should begin with a low dosage and observe their physical condition closely during treatment. This medicine can cause various side effects. If allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching occur, discontinue use immediately.
