Precautions

This medicine contains lactose, so persons who have a genetic disease that impairs the digestion of lactose should not take it. Those with high blood pressure, older individuals, patients with heart or kidney issues, those experiencing body swelling, and individuals currently under a doctor's treatment should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If urine output decreases, if the face or hands and feet swell, eyelids become heavy, or stiffness in the hands occurs after taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Moreover, long-term use of this medication may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, so regular checks of blood potassium levels should be conducted, and if any abnormalities occur, use should be stopped. Hypokalemia can result in muscle weakness, limb cramps, and paralysis; if these symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Caution should be taken when used with potassium-containing medications, other medications containing licorice, and certain diuretics, as hypokalemia and muscle-related problems can more easily occur.
