Gelibrone 300 Soft Capsules (Myrtol)

Adult dose

As an initial dose, take 300 mg 3-4 times a day. For maintenance, take 300 mg 2 times a day.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to soybean oil or have a history of allergy. Additionally, patients allergic to soybeans or peanuts should not take this medication. Patients with kidney stones or gallbladder disease should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with abnormal lipid metabolism, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, or pancreatitis should also use this medication cautiously. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should exercise caution when taking this medication. While the risk of toxicity or birth defects to the fetus is unknown, it should be administered cautiously for safety. This medication should be kept in a safe place out of the reach of children. Additionally, transferring it to another container may lead to accidents or deterioration of the medication's quality, so it is recommended to store it in the original container. Patients concerned about lipid overload should have their blood lipid levels checked regularly while taking this medication. If insufficient fat excretion is determined, the dosage of this medication should be adjusted. Furthermore, if using other intravenous lipid emulsions, the dosage of other lipid preparations should be reduced considering the amount of lipids included in this medication.

Mild side effects

• Allergic reactions and hypersensitivity may occur, so caution should be taken.
• Issues related to increased plasma lipid levels may arise, necessitating monitoring of plasma lipid levels.
• Patients with lipid metabolism disorders should be administered this medication with caution.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air from entering, preferably at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This storage method helps maintain the medication's effectiveness.
