Relief of arthritis and pain in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
This medication is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with various joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It also effectively alleviates pain from conditions like shoulder periarthritis, toothache, post-traumatic inflammation, lower back pain, and sciatica. It is helpful for pain due to non-articular rheumatism and contributes to overall reduction of inflammation and pain, used for treating pain and inflammation arising from various arthritic and musculoskeletal disorders.
For aceclofenac, take 100 mg every 12 hours, twice a day. For patients with hepatic impairment: the initial dose is 100 mg per day. This medication should be taken as is, without chewing or crushing. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume three or more alcoholic beverages a day; thus, consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication may affect the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, and individuals at risk of cardiovascular diseases should carefully consider before use. The risk of cardiovascular side effects increases with the dose and duration, so it should be taken at the minimum dose for the shortest possible time. This medication may cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, especially in elderly patients and those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Individuals with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or a history of such conditions, and those with hypersensitivity to this drug or similar medications should not take it. Specific patients, such as those with asthma, heart failure, cardiovascular diseases, severe renal or hepatic impairment, pregnant women in late pregnancy, nursing mothers, or those with inflammatory bowel disease, should avoid or use this medication cautiously. If symptoms like dizziness, skin rash, shortness of breath, or gastrointestinal bleeding appear during use, immediate consultation with healthcare personnel is essential. This medication may interact with other drugs, so individuals taking anticoagulants, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, lithium, methotrexate, etc., must consult their doctor. This medication may affect the fetus, especially in late pregnancy, so pregnant women should avoid its use or consult a doctor after careful consideration. The safety in children and adolescents has not been established, and caution is needed in the elderly due to the high risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. In cases of overdose, gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and convulsions may occur, and immediate medical assistance is required. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and not transferred to other containers for safety.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions, serious rashes accompanied by high fever, blisters, skin peeling, oral/ocular mucosal pain, severe skin reactions, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, liver abnormalities (jaundice), sudden and very severe headaches, thunderclap headaches, seizures, loss of consciousness
