This medication helps to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness of the head. By improving these symptoms, it can reduce discomfort in daily life and help maintain a comfortable condition. Therefore, it is used to treat various uncomfortable symptoms caused by the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and those aged 15 and older: 2 tablets, 3 times a day. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours apart.

Child dose

Ages 8 to 14: 1 tablet, 3 times a day. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours apart.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Individuals who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its ingredients should not take it. If you are currently taking or have stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last 2 weeks, do not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic problems digesting lactose should not take it. Do not take this medication with other cold medicines, motion sickness medicines, or allergy medications that contain other rhinitis treatments or antihistamines. People with a history of allergic reactions or those with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, diabetes, or any allergic constitution should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should also consult before taking. Elderly or individuals currently undergoing medical treatment should take caution. If there is severe or persistent cough due to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or a cough accompanied by fever, rash, or headache, consult a doctor before taking. Those allergic to the color additive Yellow No. 5 should take it with caution. If symptoms of hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, urinary difficulties, etc., occur while taking this medication, stop immediately and consult a doctor. Also, if symptoms such as muscle weakness or tingling in hands and feet, headache, or edema due to hypokalemia appear, stop taking and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve after taking it 5 to 6 times, stop and consult an expert. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age except in special circumstances; consult a doctor if necessary. This medication must be taken at the prescribed dosage and frequency, and long-term use is not recommended. When giving this medication to children, guardians should observe and guide them well. Drowsiness may occur while taking this medication, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication. Store this medication in a place out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, for quality maintenance, it is important not to transfer it to another container.

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken with other oral medications containing phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride (cold medications, rhinitis treatments, cough suppressants), oral medications for rhinitis, or medications containing antihistamines (cold medications, cough suppressants, tranquillizers, allergy medications). Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking with loop diuretics (furosemide, ethacrynic acid) or thiazide diuretics (trichlormethiazide).

Food interactions

This medication may interact with potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, glycyrrhizic acid, or its salts, so caution is needed.

Storage

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is advisable to keep the storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
