This medicine is effective for relieving cold symptoms, making it useful for symptom management.
How to take
Adult dose
Adults (15 years and older): Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.
Child dose
For children aged 11 to under 15 years: 1 1/3 capsules once 30 minutes after meals. For children aged 7 to under 11 years: 1 capsule once 30 minutes after meals.
Precautions
This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if the patient regularly consumes more than 3 drinks of alcohol daily, as it can cause liver damage. Individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication or those with a history of asthma should not take it. Infants under 3 months of age and those taking or have recently discontinued MAO inhibitors should also avoid this medication. While taking this medication, avoid concomitant use of cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and medicines containing antihistamines. As this medication contains acetaminophen, caution is advised against taking it with other acetaminophen products, as it may cause liver damage. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza, and children under 15 years of age must consult their doctor before taking this medicine, as well as individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication. Those with chronic diseases such as liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, elderly individuals, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or insomnia occur during use, the medication should be stopped immediately and a consultation with a specialist is required. In the event of severe allergic reactions, skin conditions, liver function abnormalities, or respiratory difficulties, discontinue use and consult medical personnel immediately. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid long-term use; abstain from alcohol while taking this medication. Sleepiness may occur, so avoid driving or operating machinery.
