Promotion of sputum expectoration and improvement of mucus clearance in acute and chronic respiratory diseases
This medication helps to dissolve mucus and expel phlegm in acute and chronic respiratory diseases. Patients can expect to breathe more comfortably and have phlegm expelled effectively during cough. It also lowers the viscosity of mucus, helping secretions in the bronchial passages to be expelled smoothly, thus improving respiratory symptoms. Therefore, it is effectively used for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Adults: Administer 300 mg of erdosteine orally 2~3 times daily. When administered for acute respiratory conditions, do not administer continuously for more than 10 days.
