This medication is used to alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and tearing caused by colds, allergic, and vasomotor rhinitis, and to temporarily relieve nasal congestion due to sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Children aged 12 years and older, as well as adults, should take 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours, and follow the doctor's instructions.

Child dose

Children aged 6 to less than 12 years should take ½ tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours, and follow the doctor's instructions. Children under 6 years should follow the doctor's instructions.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to specific ingredients or who have particular sensitivities. Additionally, it should be avoided in nursing women, patients with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease, and patients taking certain medications. Patients with glaucoma, difficulty urinating, peptic ulcers, asthma, or chronic respiratory diseases should also refrain from using this medication. Caution is advised for patients taking sedatives or tranquilizers. Patients with certain conditions such as chronic bronchitis, heart disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes, or prostate enlargement should not take this medication without a doctor's guidance. This medication contains specific coloring agents, so individuals who have allergic reactions to these should use it carefully. Various side effects such as anxiety, tremors, difficulty breathing, insomnia, dizziness, irregular heartbeats, and cardiovascular collapse with hypotension may occur upon usage. Especially, children may become agitated, so caution is warranted. Drowsiness may occur during treatment, and combining it with alcohol or sedatives may increase drowsiness, so caution is advised. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if accompanied by high fever, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Avoid alcoholic beverages during treatment, and refrain from driving or operating dangerous machinery. Be cautious not to exceed the prescribed dosage, and consult a doctor immediately in case of overdose. Should dizziness, insomnia, or nervous irritability occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Finally, this medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
