Combination therapy to relieve symptoms of stable angina in adults
This medication is used for the treatment of stable angina in adults and helps alleviate symptoms in patients for whom effective control is difficult with first-line therapies or in patients who are intolerant. In particular, it is used in conjunction with other medications to improve symptoms of stable angina.
Adults: Take 35mg twice daily, with breakfast and dinner. Patients with renal impairment Patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance 30-60 ml/min) should take 35mg once daily with breakfast.
This medication does not directly treat angina attacks, so alternative treatment methods should be considered in cases of severe cardiac issues. Do not use in individuals who are allergic to this medication, those with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, or those with severe renal impairment. Patients with mild renal impairment or elderly patients over 75 years of age should use this medication with increased caution, and dosage adjustment may be required if necessary. Taking this medication can commonly lead to neurological symptoms such as dizziness or headaches, and it may rarely cause rapid heartbeat or low blood pressure. Gastrointestinal side effects such as dyspepsia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, skin rashes, or itching may occur, so if any abnormal symptoms arise, consult a physician immediately. This medication may worsen Parkinsonism or motor disorders, so it is crucial to stop taking it and consult a neurologist if such symptoms develop. In particular, severe allergic reactions involving the skin may occur during the use of this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash or swelling occur, stop taking the medication and seek medical attention immediately. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication. Its safety in children has not been established, so it is not recommended for use in this population. When driving or operating machinery, caution is advised as dizziness or drowsiness may occur.
