Relief of symptoms from colds and allergies (sneezing, runny nose, etc.)
This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and tearing caused by colds, allergies, and vasomotor rhinitis. In particular, the tablet and syrup formulations are effective in improving tearing symptoms as well, while the capsule formulation mainly helps relieve nasal-related symptoms. Choosing the appropriate formulation according to the patient’s symptoms will aid in symptom relief.
Tablet: Take 1 tablet once, 3 times a day after meals. Capsule: Take 1 capsule once, 3 times a day after meals. Syrup: Take 10 mL once, 3 times a day after meals.
Tablet: For ages 12-14, take 1/2 tablet once, 3 times a day after meals. Capsule: For ages 12-14, take 1/2 capsule once, 3 times a day after meals. Syrup: For ages 12 and over, take 10 mL once, 3 times a day after meals.
This medication contains the ingredient pseudoephedrine, which may rarely cause a serious skin reaction known as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or small blisters occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication is contraindicated in individuals with certain medical conditions. For example, those who have had an allergic reaction to this drug, individuals with severely impaired liver and kidney functions, patients with severe heart diseases, individuals with urinary retention, and those with high blood pressure or coronary artery disease should not take this drug. Additionally, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, infants under 2 years of age, those taking MAO inhibitors, and individuals allergic to specific ingredients should also refrain from using this medication. While using this drug, it is advised to avoid combining it with blood pressure medications, alcohol, sleeping pills, sedatives, or certain antidepressants, and it can only be started at least 15 days after discontinuing MAO inhibitors. During the course of taking this drug, it is advisable to avoid activities requiring concentration, such as driving or operating hazardous machinery. Individuals with asthma, glaucoma, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, benign prostatic hyperplasia, or children under 12 years should definitely consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days of use or if high fever accompanies the symptoms, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if you experience any abnormal symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, hallucinations, seizures, skin rash, vomiting, urinary difficulties, agitation in children, or acute poisoning (hallucinations and seizures), stop using the medication immediately and seek medical advice. In case of overdose, symptoms such as hallucinations, seizures, and insomnia may occur and require immediate treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, sealed in its original container.

This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a container that protects it from light. It is also advisable to store it at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the efficacy of the medicine.
