This medicine is used to relieve cough and phlegm in acute and chronic respiratory diseases, such as bronchitis, laryngitis, and nasopharyngitis. It also helps treat cough symptoms occurring with pediatric influenza and colds. This medicine is effective in reducing respiratory discomfort and improving symptoms. Therefore, it is used to relieve cough and phlegm symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and those over 12 years: 10ml per dose, typically 3 times per day Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

Children (3 to 12 years): 5ml per dose, typically 3 times per day Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used in certain patients. For example, individuals allergic to this medicine or those who have had hypersensitivity reactions should avoid taking it. Additionally, patients with gastric or duodenal ulcers, glaucoma, benign prostatic hyperplasia or lower urinary tract obstruction, as well as premature infants or newborns, should not use this medicine. This medicine may rarely cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, and diarrhea. Allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, and bronchospasm may occur, so if any unusual symptoms appear, consult with a healthcare professional immediately. Additionally, during the use of this medicine, cardiovascular symptoms such as increased blood pressure or tachycardia may occur, so caution is necessary. In severe cases, shock symptoms may manifest, so if cyanosis, difficulty breathing, chest discomfort, or hypotension occurs, immediately stop administration and seek appropriate treatment. Seizures or confusion have also been reported, so if these symptoms appear, it may be necessary to adjust the dosage or take a drug holiday. Blood disorders such as aplastic anemia or agranulocytosis may occur, so regular blood tests should be performed to monitor the condition. Taking this medicine may induce drowsiness, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. When taking concurrently with other medications, caution is required regarding interactions. In particular, taking it with certain antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of the antibiotics, so it should be taken at least 2 hours apart.
