This medicine is used to relieve various symptoms of colds, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and above: Take 2 tablets three times a day 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Aged 7 years to less than 15 years: Take 1 tablet three times a day 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medicine can put stress on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. One of the ingredients in this medicine, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or other allergic symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is set at 4,000mg, so care should be taken not to take this medicine together with other medications that contain acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine in this medicine can rarely cause serious skin adverse reactions, so if fever, skin rashes, blisters, etc., occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This medicine is not safe for individuals with certain allergic reactions, infants under three months old, and those with severe kidney or heart conditions. Additionally, while taking this medicine, it is advisable not to take other cold medicines, pain relievers, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic diseases such as hypertension or diabetes should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms like rash, vomiting, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider, and if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, medical attention should be sought. For children under two years of age, this medicine should not be administered, and if necessary, it should be done only under a doctor's guidance. Adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, do not use for an extended period, and it is important to avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine. Also, care is needed as side effects may occur when this medicine is taken with certain antibiotics or some psychiatric medications. Store this medicine in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and avoid direct sunlight.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reactions
  • Severe rashes, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mouth/eye mucous membranes with high fever → severe skin adverse reactions
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, breath issues accompanied by cough+fever → respiratory problems
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)
  • Sudden and severe headache

Mild side effects

Rash/redness, itching, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take with oral medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take if currently taking MAO inhibitors or within two weeks of stopping. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.
