This medication helps to thin mucus in acute and chronic respiratory diseases, making it easier to expel phlegm. This can help alleviate respiratory discomfort and coughing symptoms. By reducing the viscosity of the mucus, it aids in the effective expulsion of secretions from the airways, improving respiratory health. Therefore, it is used for mucolysis and expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
