This medication is used to reduce fever and relieve pain from conditions such as cold-related pain, headache, toothache, muscle pain, back pain, menstrual pain, and joint pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 12 years and older should take 2 tablets every 8 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in a 24-hour period.

Child dose

Children aged 12 years and older should take 2 tablets every 8 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in a 24-hour period.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If severe rash, blisters, or allergic reactions occur during treatment with this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, exceeding the maximum daily dosage can result in liver damage; therefore, caution is advised against taking this with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies, peptic ulcers, or severe liver, kidney, or heart disease should avoid using this medication. Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, anaphylactic reaction, hypersensitivity, skin rash, severe allergic reaction, severe skin adverse reactions (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), respiratory problems (asthma attack, difficulty breathing), yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), generalized lethargy, liver abnormalities, sudden and severe headache

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pruritic (itchy) rash, rash, elevated AST, elevated ALT, fixed rash, thrombocytopenia (prolonged bleeding time), decreased platelet count, granulocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, methemoglobinemia, cyanosis, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), chronic hepatitis, acute pancreatitis, nephrotoxicity
