This medicine is primarily used for nasal congestion, sinusitis, and nasal-related diseases such as chronic rhinitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adults take 1 packet (per dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by individuals who tend to sweat excessively or those with weak constitution. Additionally, it contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. Individuals with hypertension, heart disease, or kidney disease must consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine. Caution is also needed for those with edema, the elderly, or those taking other medications. It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional if one has a weak stomach, loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms. Individuals with hyperthyroidism, diabetes, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and those who have had allergic reactions to medications should also consult before use. Safety for children has not been sufficiently verified; therefore, it is not recommended for use by children. If abnormal symptoms such as facial or limb swelling, or increased blood pressure occur during consumption, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Consultation is also necessary if symptoms such as muscle weakness, rash, indigestion, insomnia, rapid heartbeat, or urinary disorders occur. This medicine should ideally not be taken long-term, and prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed. Caution should be taken when using it alongside certain diuretics or medications containing licorice, as side effects may occur. When used with other herbal medications, care must be taken to avoid ingredient duplication, as side effects may arise when combined with Mahuang, thyroid medications, or catecholamines. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and keep out of reach of children. It is safest to keep the medicine in its original container sealed.
