1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis Adults should take sodium naproxen 275-550mg orally twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout As the initial dose, adults should take 825mg orally and then continue with 275mg orally every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis Adults should take sodium naproxen as an initial dose of 550mg orally, followed by 275mg every 6-8 hours, ensuring the total daily dosage does not exceed 1350mg. 4. Migraine As the initial dose, adults should take 825mg orally. If necessary, an additional 275-550mg can be taken up to once a day, 30 minutes after the initial dose. Ensure the total daily dosage does not exceed 1350mg. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

This medicine is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis (tendon inflammation), acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It also helps with bursitis, skeletal muscle disorders (sprains, strains, trauma), low back pain, postoperative pain, migraine, and pain after tooth extraction. It is used to effectively reduce inflammation and pain in these conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis Adults should take sodium naproxen 275-550mg orally twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medicine with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, naproxen derivatives, aspirin, or high doses of methotrexate. Avoid concurrent use with hydantoins, sulfa drugs, sulfonylureas for lowering blood sugar, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop diuretics, thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, low-dose methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (like warfarin), and others.
